The Me-dent aesthetic surgery clinic attracts domestic and international clients using AdWords

Me-Dent Clinic is a center for aesthetic surgery and regenerative medicine, founded in 2008. The predecessor of Me-Dent is the Dr. Hodžić Clinic. After specializing in stem cells in Russia, Dr. Hodžić established Me-Dent Clinic upon returning to Croatia in Rovinj. The clinic offers a variety of aesthetic procedures, from anti-aging treatments, facial smoothing corrections using stem cells, lip augmentation with own fat tissue containing stem cells, to eyelid corrections. What differentiates Me-Dent is breast augmentation with stem cells. Me-Dent’s goal is to provide innovative, reliable, and high-quality services to all domestic and foreign clients.

Success with AdWords

At the very beginning, Me-Dent Clinic, like most entrepreneurs, used traditional advertising in print media and had a network of intermediaries through which they brought potential clients to the clinic. The problem was that advertising in print media was difficult to measure, and intermediaries were extremely expensive.

Me-Dent Clinic started using AdWords in May 2012, during the period when they decided to redesign and functionally improve their website. For the website transformation, they hired the company Arbona d.o.o., which had just become a member of Google Engage. After completing the website, Arbona agency, which meanwhile earned certifications for Google Analytics and search engine advertising, proposed a test campaign using Engage incentives.

“As inquiries through the website started coming almost immediately, it was easy to continue cooperation with Me-Dent,” emphasizes Sandro Lazarić from Arbona. In just a few months, AdWords reached a share of 30% of the marketing budget, with plans for that share to exceed 80% within the next six months.

“With Google AdWords, we planned to increase the number of clients by 10%, but after just a few months, AdWords became our most important sales channel. Due to excellent results, we are fully turning to online advertising as it has proven to be the most important and successful marketing channel.
